Can I rent skates? ~ Yes! The rink has rental skates available that cost $2.00 per class.

Should my skater wear a helmet? ~ Helmets are required for snowplow sam skaters and are encouraged for the first 2 basic levels. A regular bicycle helmet will work. For more information on picking the right helmet, please see the helmet flyer under the documents tab.

Do I have to pay for a membership? ~ Yes, a learn to skate membership is required each year so you will only be charged on the first session you register for. There will not be a charge after you register for an additional session. Those who already have active memberships, please reach out to [email protected].

Is there a discount if I sign my skater up for both nights? ~ Yes, there is a 10% discount!

What is the class structure? ~ Snowplow sam is 25 minutes and incorporates skill development in a fun and interactive environment. Basic skills is 50 minutes, which will have 40 minutes of lesson and 10 minutes of group activity/ coreography. 

Can my skater attend a makeup class if they miss a regular class? Yes, a skater can potentially makeup a class but must be prearranged with the learn to skate director. Please contact [email protected].
